R: It’s as easy as getting on my schedule and talking through your goals and current writing practice. For small projects we can define the work scope via email - for true coaching support we set a time together to go over your needs and set a plan in place. Examples of coaching include - organizing a larger writing project - a collection, novel draft; refining an essay so that it is ready for submission, or even just a fresh pair of eyes on your resume or cover letter.

Q: Are you submitting as many grant applications as you want? Do you know when your next grant report is due?

R: I can offer turn-key grant writing services including writing, budget preparation, review of all grant criteria, even assisted grant submission — so that you can feel confident your organization is sending competitive, winning proposals. Likewise, stewardship and reporting to your funders is critical for maintaining a positive, on-going relationship. I can support the creation of cohesive materials based on your program’s outcomes and your community impact.

Q: Does your organization need help improving organization, workflow processes, and control of fundraising grant procedures?

R: I offer a review of your current practices via in-office appointments to determine improvement options. Office hours are hourly, and I follow-up with a full plan & contract options delivered 1-week after final in-office meeting.

Improvement areas can include: grant tracking, best practices for filing and maintenance, communication professionalization and email workflows, submission and report tracking, and program officer relationship development.
